  • 1 cup ghee
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons ginger paste
  • 2 tablespoons garlic paste

Instructions

  1. Wash the chicken thoroughly. In a small bowl, combine yogurt, ginger garlic paste, crushed onion, salt, and red chili powder. Spread this mixture on the chicken and marinate for 2 hours. Fill the chicken with blanched almonds, raisins, boiled egg, and brown onion. Close the chicken tightly and fasten tightly with wire. Heat ghee in a pan on medium/low heat. Put marinated chicken in ghee and fry it for 20 minutes or until it becomes golden brown.
  2. Remove chicken from the pan & set it aside. Add 6 cloves in the remaining ghee, cardamom, and a little brown onion in the remaining marinade mixture and fry well. Now add fried chicken and a little water and cook on low heat for 40 minutes or until chicken is done. Now add a pinch of saffron in 1 tbsp. Remove to a serving platter and serve with Bakar Khani bread or naan.
