A classic dessert, this hot fudge is a
delicious combination of Sundae ice cream and full hot fudge. Put whatever you
like on top or go with the classic whipped cream, sprinkles, nuts, and
cherries.
One reason for this is that Hot Fudge
Sundae is such a durable classic: mixing this mixture of hot, rich chocolate
fudge with frozen ice cream and melting it a little is absolutely irresistible.
If you have homemade fudge sauce and homemade ice cream at home, then it gets
even better. Vanilla ice cream is standard here, but feel free to use your
favorite flavors or combinations of flavors. And if you like nuts, use them
here in every way. The extra crunch is great against all the creamy textures.
Who is not a fan of delicious chocolate
Fudge Sundae? While you can pick up a jar of hot fudge at the store, you can
really make your own from your kitchen with just a few simple ingredients! It
only takes a few minutes to make this smooth and creamy hot fudge. Also, my
homemade version of chocolate sauce has no stabilizers or oils so you can dig
into a large bowl of this hot fudge sundae without any hassle.
Even better, you can technically prepare
this Sundae ahead of time as the chocolate fudge will be well preserved and can
be frozen so that you can enjoy your favorite dessert whenever the desire is
over! Want some more freezer-friendly desserts? Try my Loft House cookies or my

- Ice Cream: Feel free to use whatever flavor you have, but mine is the go-to vanilla.
- Toppings: I tend to use classic items: whipped cream, nuts, sprinkles, and cherries.
Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cups light brown sugar
- 1/3 cups light corn syrup or honey
- 3 tablespoons Dutch Processed Cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, cubed
- 7 ounces finely chopped bittersweet chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1 tablespoon brandy etc.
Instruction:
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, boil cream, sugar, corn syrup or honey, cocoa, and salt, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves and mixture thicken about 5 minutes. ۔
- Stir in the chocolate and cook it until the chocolate melts. Stir in butter and vanilla or wine. Allow cooling slightly. Contrary to its name, hot fudge is served hot, not hot.
- For assembly, make whipped cream. Using a whisk or electric mixer, whisk together the cream, sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Put a little fudge sauce in sandy dishes or bowls. Top with ice cream, then hot fudge, then nuts if using. If you want, cover everyone with whipped cream and cherries. Serve.
For Assembly:
- 1 cup cold heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon excellent sugar, for more flavor
- ½ Teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 pints of ice cream with your favorite flavor
- Chopped nuts, such as almonds, peanuts, or pecans
- Cherries, for garnish

TIPS FOR MAKING THIS RECIPE
- For all the tips and tricks, check out My Hot Fudge Post.
- You can also drizzle chocolate fudge around the sides of your glass or bowl before adding ice cream.
- For an extra cool dessert, you can put your glass or bowl in the freezer in advance.
- You don't have a can of whipped cream at home? Make your own homemade whipped cream recipe.
- Transfer the extra fudge sauce to a mason jar and refrigerate for later use, when ready to reheat in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Adding ¼ cup of corn syrup to the beginning will give you an extra shiny fudge that stays soft at cold temperatures.
- Feeling extra pleasure? Break up a piece of brownie and add the sauce in the middle or on top of each scoop of ice cream before drizzling.
- Make sure you keep your ice cream in the freezer until the last minute. Because the fudge is hot, the more it freezes, the slower it will melt when you add fudge.

What else can I top with?
There are lots of things you can do to get
your Sundae up! Here are some favorites: Crushed Oreos, M & Ms, Reeses Pieces,
Chocolate Chips, Caramel Chips, Butterscotch Chips, Toffee Bits, Mini
marshmallows, gummy bears, graham cracker crumbs, strawberries, raspberries,
blueberries, bananas, and more!
Which ice cream should I use?
In the classic combination, you can use the
vanilla but you can use whatever you have. Napoleon, chocolate, strawberry, and
mint chocolate are popular choices. I recommend that you buy ice cream that is
made from real dairy and not "frozen dessert". The better-quality ice
cream you use, the more delicious your Sundae will be.
What is Hot Fudge Sundae made of?
One reason for this is that Hot Fudge Sundae

course, this is even better if you have homemade fudge sauce and homemade ice

Why is it called Sundae?
The drug was developed by a pharmacist
named Charles Sontag, who named it "Sontag" after himself. In German,
the sun tag means Sundae, and hence the name was translated in Sundae, and
later it was called "sundae".
Why did McDonald's stop selling Sundaes?
Hi, Toffee Sundae and Strawberry Sundae
were removed from McDonald's menu on Wednesday, September 26, 2018, and were
removed because they were not very popular. Government recommendations

Is McDonald's Cindy the real ice cream?
McDonald's ice cream is original and is
made primarily with low-fat dairy ice cream. In addition, McDonald's ice cream
contains corn syrup with natural flavors, milk, cream, and sugar, all of which
are the main ingredients.
